For someone who thinks they have a problem they probably do but only you can identify yourself as a problem drinker or alcoholic.

I know a little bit about not drinking and I dont preach. Those who dont know me probably think I still drink if they have ever seen me on the dance floor. That being said Im there for any blogger who is wrestling with relapse or who wants to stop drinking.

Duggle I dont always agree with you but your post here is right on target.Irongirl01https://www.blogger.com/profile/10198899230957418614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7463749.post-1166480373587826522006-12-18T16:19:00.000-06:002006-12-18T16:19:00.000-06:00Duggle, I didn't see you there in Vegas. My personal goal (which this thread helps to confirm) is that the habit that used to be done just for fun has become a "habit". That isn't cool and that isn't the way it should be... so I will change it and focus on improving my results.

Of course this won't stop me from enjoying a great bottle of wine over dinner but it will end the days of drinking too much on a monday night and struggling through the week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7463749.post-1166404418154223012006-12-17T19:13:00.000-06:002006-12-17T19:13:00.000-06:00And the glorification of drinking alcohol to exces...And the glorification of drinking alcohol to excess occurs all the time in blogs. In reality - the person in question didn't relapse because the "cool bloggers" came to town. Check your facts before you guys all mouth off about shit you don't know anything about.

Michael Craig was privvy to private information and decided to exploit it on his blog - that's fucked up.

He gained some trust and then needed some writing material - so he let it out.

You may not know who he was talking about - but I think that every blogger that was in Vegas knows.

Whatever - everyone's going to have an opinion so it's really pretty useless.CarmenSinCityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12587202239830809100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7463749.post-1166321279292061882006-12-16T20:07:00.000-06:002006-12-16T20:07:00.000-06:00Geesh, for once in my life I have to agree with Wa...Geesh, for once in my life I have to agree with Waffles.

Yes, if someone you are concerned about has a problem that you see, then is it not better to address them personally, rather than "splash" it on your blog for everyone to see?

Yes, he didn't mention any names, but enough people were present to know who he was talking about in both instances.

True concern and "attention-getting" are two different stories.
