I Get To Decide What You Watch on TV
That's right, for the first week of February, I was a Nielsen Family! I got the books, I tracked every minute of TV watching and DVRing I did for the first through the eighth. I even got $5 whole dollars cash for participating.
You can be DAMN sure the word "Idol" didn't appear in my books anywhere, but there was plenty of Heroes and Adult Swim on there (I PVRed a Heroes Marathon the day before the ratings period started). Mrs. Bogey pretty much filled up the rest of her book with SciFi Channel offerings.
It turned out to be a lot more work than I anticipated, because the way you log time shifted DVR programs is a bit cumbersome. I wonder if I was supposed to record shows that I fell asleep watching?

Hey, how did it all work? How did you get selected and all that? Seems pretty cool.
I'll have to research that and get back to you, as the wife took care of all that part, I just filled in my part of the books.
