The Best Thing

The very best thing about being a New York Yankees fan is that you never EVER lose a player on your team that they really wanted to keep but had to let go for "economic" reasons.

Looks like A-rod may be staying a Yankee. 300 million is too much for everyone else.

Yeah its tough Watching the Yanks overpay and get stuck with older players like Damon who can't play center anymore.

enjoy him for 2 more years.

1. Overpay? Who cares? If it doesn't affect their ability to sign other players, who cares if someone is overpaid?

2. If you think the Yankees will avoid getting a better player because they have Damon or anyone else under contract, you must live in a dreamland.

Don't forget Carl Pavano and Jason Giambi!!

Fuck the Yankees.

OR Posada and Rivera!

Yankee management must think that players are like wine, and just get better and better with age.

Check the post season stats...they suck ass. When did the Yanks forget that pitching wins championships anyway?

Haha...good one.

Having great post season stats doesn't help a lot when you don't make the post season.

The guy is MVP 2 out of the last three years, if you really think "you can have him" you must HATE your team and want them to fail.
